Dr. Donna Mendez is a board certified Pediatrician and Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician. She completed her pediatric residency at University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC) in San Antonio, and a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. She is currently an attending at McGovern Medical School in Houston. She is the director of the pediatric emergency fellowship established in 2014. She has received her Doctorate in Professional Leadership with an Emphasis in Health Science Education from The University of Houston in 2016. She has published more than 20 papers in journals and online resources.

James Heubi, M.D. is Associate Dean for Clinical and Translational Research, Professor of Pediatrics at the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine. He is the Director of the Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training which is the vehicle by which the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and the Veterans Administration Medical Center administer the NIH-funded, Clinical Translational Science Award. He has been an active clinical investigator with over 200 peer reviewed publications and was the long term program director for the NIH funded General Clinical Research Center. He is the principal investigator and co investigator on NIH grants and participates is a local principal or co-investigator on 2 rare disease networks supported by the NIH. His research interests include cholestatic liver disease in childhood and its complications, inborn errors of bile acid metabolism, bone disease in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders, fat absorption, and cholesterol absorption and metabolism.

Sasigarn Bowden, MD, is a pediatric endocrinologist at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Bowden is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) and Sub-Board of Pediatric Endocrinology. Her clinical and research interests include metabolic bone disorders, pediatric osteoporosis, and diabetes. Dr. Bowden is the associate program director for the fellowship program and a pediatric bone expert for the Metabolic Bone Clinic at Nationwide children’s Hospital. She is the Chief Editor for eMedicine and has published more than 60 articles and abstracts in reputed journals.

Prof. Dafina Kuzmanovska has held the position of nephrologists at University Children’s’ Hospital in Skopje, since achieving her subspecialisation in paediatric nephrology in 1986. In 1997 she became Professor in Paediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine and in 2002 full professor in Paediatrics. She has been on a position of head of Cathedra of Pediatrics in the period 2009-2013 and since September 2014 she is emeritus professor. During her career she has written more than 100 research and professional papers published in recognised international journals and on major conferences and co-authored some textbooks.

Sangita Yadav is the Head of the Department of Pediatrics, Maulana Azad Medical College, a premier institute of University of Delhi. She has more than 35 years of teaching experience. She is also the Head of Department and a recognized PhD Supervisor. She is currently the Joint Secretary Liaison of Indian Academy of Pediatrics. Chair Person of Adolescent Health Academy of IAP. Her area of interest is pediatric and adolescent endocrinology. She was awarded WHO Fellowship for training in USA. She is the Founder Member of Adolescent chapter in 2000 and its task force. She has published more than 100 papers/articles in books and journals. Dr. Sufwan Alomar is a consultant neonatology at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Doha, Qatar. He is associated director of neonatal perinatal fellowship program, the leader of NICU data registry (a member of VON), leader of respiratory committee, and he is faculty paediatrics (ACGMEI accredited) at HMC

He has especial interest in mechanical ventilation and non-invasive respiratory support and ELBW infants he was awarded in 2015 by Stars of excellence program in HMC for his work of Golden Hour delivery room management and Tiny Baby Unit. Other research interest is PPHN, functional echocardiography, Air leak syndrome, neonatal jaundice, in addition to his interest in evidenced based medicine and quality improvement projects.

DR. JAVED RASHEED was born on 11th May 1957, at Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu. Following his schooling from Campion and PUC from Jamal Mohammed College, both at Tiruchirapalli, Dr Javed moved to Chennai to pursue his medical studies from the Madras Medical College. He then went on to do his Post Graduation in Paediatrics at Dublin and Glasgow. Dr. Javed Rasheed is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in Paediatrics.

Dr.Javed Rasheed helps in the management of Educational Minority Institutions, along with his wife Mrs. Azra Javed, some of these are more than 127 years old. These include a 57 year old Medical College. Dr Kanav Anand is a Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology and Renal Transplantation, Institute of Child Health, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, India. He is an executive member of Indian Society of Pediatric Nephrology. He is also the national convener for Nephrology in a Nutshell program run under the aegis of Indian Academy of Pediatrics.
